IncWorx Delivers Custom Solution and Plan to Increase Efficiency

Everence is a financial services organization based in Goshen, Indiana, that provides individuals, organizations, and congregations with banking, insurance, and financial services.

Everence has a headquarters location with a number of satellite offices and has a fair amount of regulations to consider when it comes to day to day operations given the nature of their business. Everence sought a proven partner to assist with their first SharePoint deployment. They sought to find a way to manage policies & procedures, move documents from Lotus Notes, and to enhance department level collaboration. It was important for Everence to have a partner who was not only technically capable of the project but also a partner who could understand the business processes and help map them to SharePoint.

Everence partnered with IncWorx Consulting to craft a solution that was custom tailored to their specific situation. The first phase of the project was to develop a road map and implementation plan and get the blueprint for everything involved on the business side as well as the technical side. During this phase we met with key client personnel to understand their challenges day-to-day, educated them on capabilities of SharePoint that could help increase efficiency, designed a taxonomy and governance model, and took time to understand all of the business requirements and prioritized them. IncWorx then worked with the client to understand their technology infrastructure, made recommendations and a shopping list that would account for optimal performance and future growth. Once the business and technical planning was complete, it was pulled together in a roadmap, reviewed with the client and built in a Proof of concept environment for final client sign off. The engagement was a tremendous success and helped Everence properly plan their environment to avoid any of the potential problems associate with un-planned SharePoint implementations that spin out of control. Everence was also able to see and interact with our proposed solution prior to fully implementing the solution!
