The team prepared the target Azure Storage Account and file share container to receive incoming data. They also configured Azure Key Vault to store the credentials required to access the on‑premises file share and ensured secure handling of sensitive information.
The initial migration moved roughly 260 gigabytes of content in about fifty minutes. The same job supported delta migrations to capture new or changed files during the transition. After the migration, users synchronized to Entra ID accessed the Azure files without issues.
